Center for Architecture + Design
Established by AIA San Francisco, the Center for Architecture + Design opened it’s doors in 2023 to the art, architecture, and design community.
Our initial effort to establish CA+D as a public gathering place and cultural institution has evolved into ongoing collaborations on exhibitions, auctions, and lecture series as the center continues to broaden public engagement.
As part of the annual “Architecture + the City” Festival, we proposed that the CA+D host a poster exhibition titled Design + The City.
Ten influential Bay Area designers created limited-edition, San Francisco-inspired posters specifically for the exhibition.

The posters were later auctioned off to raise funds for the Center. The event celebrated design excellence, reunited longtime collaborators, and inspired the next generation of designers.
