California Academy of Sciences: Cal Academy had to close for six months while it moved its museum and aquarium exhibits from its temporary downtown space to its spectacular new building in Golden Gate Park. Especially during those “dark” months, the Academy felt it important to retain the interest of current members with frequent progress reports. The Academy asked us to produce a modest interim newsletter that gave the public a flavor of the exciting attractions to come, and with the opening of the new museum, launch its major magazine — Live.
